Combined Advanced SAR Skills Program

Course Description

Introduction

This course is designed to strengthen the knowledge and skills needed to respond to a wide range of Search and Rescue (SAR) events, enhancing participants’ abilities in both search and rescue operations.

SAR service personnel, including rescuers, search managers, and rear crew, are often the first responders to the most complex and high-stakes missions. These demanding situations require exceptional skills, adaptability, and precision. Rescuers must be ready to act quickly and efficiently in a variety of scenarios, such as search operations, mountain extractions, and swift-water rescues, often under extreme and unpredictable conditions.

To address these challenges, Rescue International introduces the Advanced Combined Skills Training Program. This specialized training equips participants with cutting-edge techniques, operational expertise, and hands-on experience, empowering them to navigate complex rescue scenarios—from search to rescue—confidently and professionally.

Recognizing that helicopters are frequently the first to deploy in SAR operations, this course includes a dedicated module for rear crews focused on excelling in hoisting operations. Participants will gain critical skills in hoisting, including precision and the ability to practice a wide range of scenarios, including emergency situations, ensuring readiness in the most challenging circumstances.

Designed to meet the evolving demands of modern rescue operations, this training program makes SAR organizations more flexible and effective. Participants will be fully equipped to respond quickly and decisively, saving lives when it matters most.
