Course Description

This course offers an introduction to analysis for Search and Rescue (SAR) planning.

Participants will gain a deep understanding of how analysis and critical thinking can significantly enhance the search management process. By adopting a more analytical approach, SAR planners can increase accuracy, optimize the allocation of search resources, and ultimately improve the efficiency of search operations.

Through the examination of real-world cases, participants will develop the ability to recognize and address cognitive biases, refining their analytical skills and adding valuable insights to search planning.
